C. Dorian Walker

Dorian Walker has twenty-five years of filmmaking experience, fifteen of those in Hollywood, after completing the second year program at the American Film Institutes Center for Advanced Film Studies.  He has directed two nationally released Motion Pictures and has been associated with many others.  Both were done as independent movies that garnered the interest and support of mainline studios – as well as critical acclaim… “a surprising tilt toward ‘30’s romantic comedy” – USA Today… and on style, “straddles the line between a clever class comedy ala ‘Philadelphia Story’… with other films of its like, Diner, Risky Business” – Daily Variety.  His movies include Making the Grade, a teen-oriented, contemporary Prince and the Pauper story which MGM studios released nationally.  And Teen Witch, a young girl’s contemporary Cinderella story whose producers, Trans World Entertainment, were approached by several studios including Tri-Star Pictures for national distribution.  It also appears on the Disney Channel’s television schedule and in video stores
